The Challenge

Most crypto launchpads require large token holdings or whitelist spots to participate. CoinTerminal wanted to democratize access — creating a free, open launchpad where anyone could discover and invest in early-stage tokens before they hit major exchanges.

The platform needed to handle high-traffic token launches (often thousands of concurrent users), display real-time pricing data, and maintain a seamless user experience under load.

Our Approach

We designed CoinTerminal as a data-rich yet visually clean platform that could scale to handle viral launch events.

• Launch Experience — Designed dedicated launch pages with progress bars, allocation tracking, and social proof metrics (participants, total raised)
• Discovery System — Created a filterable project directory with risk scores, team verification badges, and community sentiment indicators
• Scalability — Implemented edge caching, queue systems for high-demand launches, and progressive loading for data-heavy pages

The Result

CoinTerminal has facilitated over 50 token launches, with some attracting 10,000+ participants. The platform maintains sub-second response times even during peak launch events. User retention sits at 65% month-over-month — exceptional for the crypto space.
